The Mariner Junior Program is sponsored by the South Coast Sailing Team. Membership is open twice a year; spring season and fall season. An Information Night for the Mariner Juniors is held each season (in September for the fall season and in February for the spring season) at the Orange County Sailing and Events Center, 34451 Ensenada Place, Dana Point, CA 92629.
$280 Mariner Juniors (includes sailing classes).
In addition to the above fees, Mariner Juniors are required to register and pay annual dues with BSA directly. The 2024 rate for this is $50. This is prorated from January to December. After your first season, this will be included in your

Payment of fees and submission of paperwork entitles each youth to our classes, a Mariner Juniors T-shirt and a weekend cruise (optional-additional fee).
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Youth registering for Fall Classes must be 12 by November 1. Youth registering for Spring Classes must be 12 by May 1.
$380 First Season (includes sailing classes, competition and uniform).
In addition to the above fees, Mariners are required to register and pay annual dues with BSA directly. The 2024 rate for this is $160. After your first season, this will be included in your next season payment.

We remain dedicated to the principle that no one shall be denied the opportunity to participate in Mariners because of financial reasons.
All Youth have the opportunity to earn an hourly rate on maintenance projects that can be used to offset their yearly dues or cost of cruises.
